The Bears had their final scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday. The travel team wore their home uniforms and head coach Ed Lamb emphasized details that some coaches may not mention. Another reason I like Lamb and his staff. Starting a week from tonight, I will be bringing you UNC Bears Football Weekly. It'll be a weekly wrap up that will feature highlights, post-game and all the color and excitement from Bears football in '24. You don't want to miss it! It's going to be special and for supporters only. I look forward to bringing my normal content and this special show on Sunday night. Simply become a supporter and GO BEARS! Thank you to all of you who are already helping make this possible. I appreciate you.
UPDATE: Winter conditioning and spring football can sometimes be a grind so Carson Keach had a little fun last week following an interception. The sophomore from Ponderosa HS in Parker, CO executed his best cartwheel downfield after picking off a pass. Two more weeks of spring football remain for the UNC Bears.

UPDATE: Redshirt Jr. Rocco Traore enters his fourth season with the UNC Bears football program. However, this is his first month playing running back at the college level. He was a great running back in high school in the Seattle area but was more valuable as a defensive back in Greeley the past three years. He's seen a lot during his time with the Bears including teammates leaving like Carver Cheeks and Noah Mangham did last week. Rocco takes it all in stride.

Good Morning: Happy Easter! One of the spiritual leaders on the UNC Bears team is R-Jr. LB Jordan Davis (32) who always has a smile on his face and puts team first. He was a star at Cherokee Trail HS in Aurora and his dad played running back at Kansas with the Jayhawks in the late 90s. Davis is one of those guys you have to have in order to enjoy success in college football.
