The 2024 UNC Bears football team in helmets and shorts today along with new practice jerseys. Second year head coach Ed Lamb wanted to accomplish several things today and they were able to tackle those on one of the hottest days of the year. After seven months of intense work, the Bears hit the field turf with energy and enthusiasm. UPDATE: Winter conditioning and spring football can sometimes be a grind so Carson Keach had a little fun last week following an interception. The sophomore from Ponderosa HS in Parker, CO executed his best cartwheel downfield after picking off a pass. Two more weeks of spring football remain for the UNC Bears.

UPDATE: Redshirt Jr. Rocco Traore enters his fourth season with the UNC Bears football program. However, this is his first month playing running back at the college level. He was a great running back in high school in the Seattle area but was more valuable as a defensive back in Greeley the past three years. He's seen a lot during his time with the Bears including teammates leaving like Carver Cheeks and Noah Mangham did last week. Rocco takes it all in stride.

Good Morning: Happy Easter! One of the spiritual leaders on the UNC Bears team is R-Jr. LB Jordan Davis (32) who always has a smile on his face and puts team first. He was a star at Cherokee Trail HS in Aurora and his dad played running back at Kansas with the Jayhawks in the late 90s. Davis is one of those guys you have to have in order to enjoy success in college football.
